TODO: legal review needed
This page is a placeholder. Nothing below has been reviewed by a solicitor and it must not be relied on. It needs drafting and review before launch — including UK GDPR obligations, the legal trading name and the registered address.
Privacy policy
How AdRide handles personal data belonging to advertisers, riders, and people who scan a QR offer on the street.
Who we are
TODO: legal trading name, TODO: registered address, TODO: ICO registration number, and the contact address for data protection enquiries.
Advertiser and enquiry data
What we collect when someone submits an enquiry or books a campaign, why, how long it is kept, and the lawful basis. TODO.
Rider data
This is the section that needs the most care. Riders carry units that record GPS route data and screen-on time. TODO: set out exactly what location data is collected, how precise it is, how long it is retained, what it is used for (campaign reporting and rider payment), who it is shared with, and what riders can ask to see or have deleted.
Location data in campaign reports
Advertisers receive route heatmaps built from rider GPS data. TODO: confirm and document the aggregation applied so that reports cannot identify an individual rider or their home address.
QR scans and claims
What is recorded when a member of the public scans a QR code and claims an offer, and what is shared with the advertiser. TODO.
Cookies and analytics
TODO: confirm what, if any, analytics or cookies this site uses, and add a compliant consent mechanism if any non-essential cookies are introduced.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and how to complain to the ICO. TODO: draft.
